    Swap Meet Exit Traffic

Didn't make the Swap and it's about this time that folks start coming away - and it's always a bit of a wait.

Anyway, just heard on the radio that there's something going on with the Dartford crossing and the traffic is having to use the tunnel two ways - so it's backing up everywhere. The traffic is usually pretty grim around Lakeside etc normally after the swap, but the implication is that it's a lot worse than normal.

And presumably most will only get to see this once you get home? Have a safe trip anyway.

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.

Just got in from the Swapmeet. Leaving the Arena site didn't take too long for me, but the Dartford bridge being shut certainly caused some huge jams on the M25. There were what looked like huge queues on the Kent side.

Still a great event though despite the weather. I'd like to say thanks to the NSRA team who must have been frozen on the gates etc.
I've mended lots of things that had turned out not to be foolproof!

Some ***** stopped his car on the bridge and threatened to jump. Sounds like police managed to coax him off but apparently he slipped and fell anyway. Bridge is still closed now. Inconsiderate **** wit!!

Luckily we were going north (anti-clockwise) so after the half hour or so getting to the M25, it was a pleasant thrash home. It was pretty well stacked up going south to the bridge though
Sent from my Kitchen Table using a little box full of smoke and dangerous radio waves

    Pathetic,
It would seem there are some unfeeling jokers on here same as on the other side! I wonder how you would react if when you got home you found out it was a member of your family or a friend.

Funny as in the cops spent time talking him down and then he slips and got what he wanted anyway. I don't have much time for jumpers i'm afraid, think what you like about me, I couldnt really care less.

    FUNNY

    I'll state something FUNNY.

And this is not aimed at anyone specifically, its aimed at the human race.

If he was famous he would be considered fair game for jokes.

    work it out.

But Graham thats the whole point.

There should be no joke about anyone dying,i was highlighting the fact that not many come forward to defend famous people from jokey attacks, they have families too,eg; look how Boyd Codington was treated on the internet,it was disgraceful.

"Were all someones daughters, were all someones sons "

Of course ,it could be suggested terrorists or murderers are fair game, and i expect they would get less support.

Sadly a lot of comedy is based on cruelty, nothing will change the way things are,and certainly not me posting this on the internet either ,most likely just a waste of time.

I am not having a go at you Graham or any one else ,or a group/side taken on this thread,i am having a go at everyone, including myself.

I wasn't gonna bother to answer this but I will tell you why I have no time for jumpers, I used to live in a house very close to a level crossing that was famous for jumpers, over the 2 years we were there my kids found fingers, hands, feet etc in our garden, we finally moved when the dog dragged in half a head one day, how do you think that affected my kids !!! FFS

    I will say no more.
