My mate Bob from Norfolk had the old Dave Gardiner built one, Matt or satin black,
he emigrated to Australia around 20 years ago and took it with him.
You only made one mistake, you trusted me........
Ah,that confirms it !....I remember Phil had the pop for sale years ago about £1000 or so,but I was skint as usual, loved the proportions the coupe had,I worked with Dave years ago and see him very occasionally,he did work on the pop I have now, cheers for the reply Jerry
This came up today on the Paradise Road Fb group, Notts Americana 1988, Newark (photo credit to Robin Cook Collection)![]()
Rome wasn't burned in a night
Sounds good ,i have spent quite a while scouring the internet but i have found no photo or reference to this car, which is a shame for it to be left out of our history,if you have a photo,or know of one and you cant post it let me know and i will get it on here somehow![]()
In course of hunting down Dave Gardiners car i found a few more coupes,so you may as well have em up
Anothr shot of Tracey Wards coupe,i think he may have emigrated and took it with him.

This one is of interest,it was built by Ant Williams, the body was salvaged from a back garden,it was once a hot rodded pop from the early 70's near me,it had a big block chrysler in (i think) way back then and an full width jag MK10 IRS with massive bubber, the first hot rod pop i ever saw,i remember it strangly had a big brass houshold tap on top of the grill and a Mister T style paint job.
The car was way to far gone to be put back they way it was so it was born again.

Well you thought I would leave it at thatno way jose. Shug and his wife Loraine had driven all the way to the Nats from Scotland,as you do,and the head gasket had popped. So out in the middle of the arena he had the motor in a thousand pieces, and repaired to drive home
