Question re washers

Hi , was wondering if pops had washers as a stock item from new ? MOT man questioned it ,although he has tested the car the car previously .

it was a retrospective law all cars had to have washer unless the screen could be opened or you looked over it

Thanks Richard , I knew about the opening screen deal having a Pilot but I was unable to answer his concern at the time .I was caught off guard as he had tested the car previously. I've ordered parts to install a washer system now .
