no
wanted
1974/5 mopar dodge charger rotors
these were commonly called volaire rotors in the us and a in the old days - -because they were always a volaire rotor, they are the same as a 1974/5 dodge charger rotor, but they changed in 76 to something else and differed in the 1973 - -so if you buy them from rock auto you simply buy the volaire = =even though the 75 is the same thing
raybestos code i think from mammory is 7032r
https://www.ebay.com/itm/40554489798...Bk9SR9Tn0OCDZw - since they are now made in the east, they have stopped being referred to as a raybestos
its the 11'' rotor from 1974 that is used in the early ford brake disc kits
i have the chevy versions drilled ford, but because I am using original 40 spindles, the outer bearing doesn't ride over far enough
plus I now know i need the extra 10 mm track to the outside these rotors afford me, but its so i can have more turning radius and run stock spindle stops
also it will give me a perfect central track width to the rear which is nice.
that reminds me i do need the dust caps.
so IF you have taken off a disc brake kit and have the rotors or brake discs hanging around
then i'll have them
also IF you need 1/2'' coming inboard and you have aftermarket 40 spindles with the shoulder machined into them, i have a new set of chevy 70-77 rots drilled ford 1/2'' unf studders for a swapsies
see the 37 truck i built before used 67 mustang stock shafts in a 9'' case small bearing for 10 by 1.3/4'' brakes - -quite a narrow rear track.
6 by 16 wheels - too narrow on the back, but it had so-cal front dioscs = narrow on a stock axle 48.5'' wide 37-40
this one has a 59.25'' wide rear axle but with 7j 16 wheels - -really
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leeU7yVg8QM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEzZK-Pfam0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6B_n61Cb34
so i want a smidge for turning radius and i want to run the stock spindle stops
its 'also' so that the steering box then swings in its designed travel points with regards internal valving switching something or nothing can't remember.
i thiknits calledf finesse ?
-----------------------------------------------------------
ialso need a 1995 ford transit swb propshaft - -preferably new short wheel base for mt75 mk5 flanged transmission
BUT it has to have c-clips on its first flange rather than peened over ones - -i am only asasuming they are peened over rather than clips.
as i need to narrow the front part as i think the rear is 27 by 80 stock or 1310, and i can jsut cut the doofer off and use a stock u/j on the 8'' that is there
then I only need to narrow the front part and i can mount the bearing just behind the central 'x' which would be ideal.
so it has to be a mk5 transit from about 30 years ago as i am using a mk5 transit petrol transmission from 1995 'petrol gears .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDvYnBW7Jp8
quite a rare gearbox as it only came in a mk5 petrol transit with the dohc motor.
more over the speedometer output or the vss signal it gives out is the signal that the 1995 ford galaxy ecu wants to see - -as its the same thing
something about the pats box on a galaxy being vag as its the same as the vw sharan and the scorpio 2 having its own version of external pats, but that came in the transit too.
so this gearbox benefits you in 4 ways IF you were thinking about planning a build and wanted ease and didnt want to chop anything stock from your chassis or if you liek didn't wantr to split your rust free 36 ford wishbone.
1. the transmission is petrol geared internally
2. its short
3. is a top loading transmission
4. fits any petrol 4 pot from 1959 to 2005
5. has the starter drivers side uk, BUT is low and out the way.
6 uses the lrs 202 45 quid new granada/sierra mt75 starter
7. note the block plate is a auto siera not manual - -stock transit and mk2 scorpio!
8. uses a flange.
9. the speed sensor sends the correct signal i want from its
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154612234194
so thats nice as i had the triangular plug for the other side loom tail, so thats nice.
something about clicks per mile, i only remember as when you use aftermarket electronic speedometers that are from the us and A they are set out of the box with 16.000 clicks per mile, I remember getting the adjustable guages fora 37 dash the dear ones, running a t5 with s10 tail, GM output shaft and electronic hall sensor vss signal BUT not knowing from what - -it may have been a tvr version or something - -was a hassle as couldn't get your head in to count the splines on the output shaft hall thing - -plus just trying to find the tail for the t5 speedo sensor was a complete faff and bore, i think it cost more than the clocks!! - -yes s- aswell - -seiierra transit granada stuff is much cheaper and still available, even 30 years on its still there and cheap - -you know IF you are not a mechanic or an engineer, you are not used to the price of parts, so for exaple you just remember when the mechanic type person used to say 20-25 years ago - -you need an new oxygen sensor 4 wire, ?200 - -the universal ones are still ?150 - -and you can buy them new now for a fiver - - something like that. so yes i would say, if youwere looking for a donor vehicle for something, I would recommend a mk5 petrol smiley transit, use everything you can - its 'JUST' this side of eec-v ecu and just before twing hego pre AND post, and non canbus - -cable throttle, EVEN though it is running a plastic intake, the IAC is on the plenum and you can use the later focus combined maff - -intake air sensor, bit like the st170 when using the stock intake, but alas doesn't use the IMRC or the flappery low idle dooffer combined with the vvs variable vale system -which is WHAT YOU HAVE TO USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH EACH OTHER, THE VARIATORS ON THE CAM WANT THE INTAKE FLAPS DIVERTED TO LENGTHEN OR SHORTEN THE INTAKE RUNNER LENGTH, so running throttle bodies on a st170 engine with vvt is a really bad idea as its set stock to economy - low length intake, when the ecu switches the variator to open , the IMRC pulls a cable to open up the intake runners to lengthen them, it does this at about 3.2oo revolutions per minute, so IF you have throttle bodies with a plenum that doesn't vary, when using a engine that does is no good as ALWAYS under 3200 k the engine is over fuelled and on the wrong side of the cam, also what you dont get 'stock' is the ecu working out the speed you are travelling asi t knows through the vss input, it then times the injector pulse width AND knows where the throttle position is, pluds of course you are knackered with throttle bodies on a vvt motor as 1. tou wont get a decent signal for the brake servo - -1 there is no where to mount the IAC so you cant have power steering or air condition pumps loading the engine , something like that. - -anyways, the plastic intake on a dohc 1995 scorpio / /transit petrol engine - -galaxy 1995-1998, is also mustard as its drivers side facing forwards, which is nice as a st170 points backwards and you need mess with the firewall - -
take heed IF you ever try to use a 2300cc 16 valve motor from a galaxy/transit mk6 or scorpio, and run the galaxy ecu, the eec-v plug 104 pin you may assume is the same as the 2.0 8v as its the same phjysical box 104 pins, - it isn't BUT its only slightly different in its layout, the crank + and - and the coil 1/3 and 2/4 are in different spots, thats it. - -just incase you wanted to find or nail together a 2.3 16v galaxy rwd, but settled on a new 8v 2.0, you know if you happened to find a new one comlpete for nish whilst looking for a sierra automatic dohc sump and oil pump set............................................... .................................................. ........... nurse
you asked
but io am using a stock ecu - -the ecu uses the vss vehicle speed sensor to know when to do stuff like egr and purgeing the tank and getting the correct tune or something.
erm shame I am not using a 1995 transit rear axle and ecu as i AM running mk5 transit rear tyres!!
i would imagine the galaxy 2.0 8v ecu differs here from the transit 2.0 8v ecu , even though the engine is the same - -the gearbox and tyre circumference isn't
thanks - -you did ask
so the mk6 transit goes to a rubber do-nut
the mk4 maybe is the same - non smiley straight grille 1991?

the ideal donor
2.0 8valve
swb prop - use th erear axle
use the steel wheels fling on a hub cap
use the loom everything column dials.
ecu
tank and pump - fuel lines
seats and risers
pick it clean
pre can bus ok on the ulez 1 hego
comes with a rear bowl sump - oil pan 'aluminium'
comes with a 5 speed top loading mt75 - -specific to this late model mk5 smiley petrol rare!!
rear axle will ahve funny gears
swb prop length will suit something 120 inch
run the axle and leaf springs
dont know about teh front suspension.
dont get the mk6 2.3000 as it has balance shafts in th esump length ways and a low bowl sump - -also the stick is to the back of the mt75, its still quite a short trans though.
you wont find a 2300 mk6 petrol transit
you wont find a mk5 2.0 petrol transit for under a grand. especially when
