The Hot Rod and Custom UK (a UK hotrod magazine) had a buildup series called Project Pop. It was an original body, Jago chassis with Herald / Vitesse ( same as Spitfire??) front end. It had a Pinto 4 cylinder engine and an Escort live rear axle. Nevertheless, if you're looking for rather generic data to illustrate to the German feds the kind of stuff that has been historically capable if registration in the UK then I'd say it would help, even if only in part. Rover V8's and Jag rears were far mors common though, almost as if standard equipment!

At one time I understand UK registration was acceptable evidence for registration in European countries. Has that ended or changed? Might have especially with our having exited (thoeretically) the great master state project.

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.

Rene, you need to speak to Axel Steinbach, he's the German ESRA rep as well as a lawyer & has helped with a lot of legislation regarding registration of rods in Germany. I've messaged him to let him know you need help, he's on Facebook.

Edit, just spoke with Axel, he's not got much to do with it any more but suggests you speak to either Mario (0176 56647163) or Ingo (0157 74498404) via whatsapp, they should be able to help.

Can copy it over if the original poster makes a new thread, i'd rather keep his intro here as per normal.
