    Brake caliper rebuilds

Where's the best place for getting a caliper rebuilt these days, have used Bigg Red in the past but it seems they've stopped doing them?

Have used Bigg Red in the past for lots of bits including re-built callipers, so to confirm they have stopped offering any callipers?

When I clicked their details in google it was unavailable & then I read in RodsN Sods that they were just doing parts now, presumably with different contact details.

Maybe they have had to many dumping scrap core on them, and not worth the agro.
Easy to rebuild them anyway, if the pistons look a bit dodgy fit stainless,in fact a good idea to fit stainless, for cars that do a lot of sitting about in the winter.
Captain Scarlet is indestructible: I am not,but I'll give it a good go . Ian

My issue will be that I don't know what the caliper is off, it looks very Ford-ish. I'll ask the original builder if he can remember. Had a quote from another rebuilder, ?135 to include postage & VAT.

Might be worth posting a picture of the caliper some one might recognize it.

I've now identified it as a Mk1 Capri caliper, also confirmed by Phil May as his first 9 cars were Capris!!! Found a company fairly local that does refurbs, just waiting for a response.

it's not worth paying for the refurb Mo, rally design do them brand new for ?49.50 (?54.25 for the wider vented disc version).they're decent quality too so no worries there.
