Th350 gearbox issue

Can anyone help I took my 34 3 window out the week before last as it's first outing. In hindsight maybe a bank holiday weekend was the wrong time, anyway I got back to my house was driving the car back into the garage when the gearbox oil sprayed out of the side of the gearbox. Now I'm not sure if it was out of the belly pan gasket or the lever at the side.
I don't think I lost much oil as the car drove into the garage ok.
I've looked a little into it and it sounds like the gearbox pressurised and the gasket possibly failed..... Can anyone help as I wanted to go to Beaulieu American day on father's day and I'm not sure where the breather filters torque settings for the pan or even if the gearbox needs to come out.

Could simply have been Td over filled and the additional heta caused it to expand and eject excess? Have you tried simply stRTING IT nd running up to temp in the garage now it's cooler? Is it fitted with a proper oil to air cooler rather than an in rad unit?
