Thanks for replies and info. But after speaking to 2 gearbox rebuilders and explaining what happened on the hottest day of the year after a 130 mile run ! They both said the problem was going to be the gearbox overheating, they said take it out for a 10 - 15 mile run to get the temp up and if the the box shows no problem it should be ok, it was ok after a 10 mile run so going to put a stand alone trans cooler on and hopefully all will be well.
