    Steering Joints

Bit of a debate here, steering column, 3 u/j?s, centre one supported. Should the 2 outer ones be in phase, with the centre u/j turned 90 degrees from the outer? Or all 3 in the same phase? I say the former.

I dont know, but I do know on a similar setup, if I installed it in a particular way, aka 'wrong', there was a noticeable tight spot.

I guess each end should be in phase with it's half of the center joint, which automatically puts the 2 sections at 90 to eachother by virtue of the center joint, no?

Are we talking splined or dd, or indeed a composite? Mine were splined but I don't recall adjusting with the splines.

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.
