You ask if there's a coil (singular), which suggests you are looking for an ignition coil in the kit, which there isn`t.

you can scratchbuild a coil easy. de-flash and cut a sectin of sprue about 3in long. stretch the sprue over a candle flame, just enought to pull it apart. Cut a section from it, about 2mm for the top of the coil. Add a small 3mm length of plastic tube for the coil body (earbud tubes). Drill the stretched piece for the king lead and paint the whole unit red.

Have to agree it does look Olds/Pontiac inspired, though probably just a generic representation of a rearend Andy...

nice detailing there and colour co-ordination.

....today i are mostly been swearing......had a faux pas with the engine....it does bounce well on the wooden floor...especially after hitting the front end and snapping the steering......some gluing was required but looks ok now

Blimey, I'd better get a move on!

Strange Mark, a coat of primer and some inside-chassis headers and that could be mistaken for this one: http://www.nsra.org.uk/newforum/show...?t=9066&page=3
