Have to agree they blend in quite well
They look fine mate, just get them in convex, it will be so much better![]()
Convex are rarer than a rare thing from raresville
Got a bigger convex mirror - how to trim down? Diamond disc in an angle grinder????

Is it glass or plastic? is it one of those stick on jobbies ?
Glass - stick on. Plastic would be too easy!

Im not impressed with the glass company, they've had templates a week and not even got a price yet, let alone started the job?
Update....spoke to the glass company, another 2 weeksand they cant cut the mirror.
I'm going to get a dremel diamond cutter and have a go, maybe glass company can polish the edges after if I'm sucessful.

The mirrors really suit the car with the curvy shapes blending with the curvy shapes on the car itself
I know a man who is addicted to brake fluid. He says he can stop anytime.
Any advice or help given is actually based on having done the job, not read about doing it or Googling it.

i've sanded glass down with a 'flap disc' in my grinder mark, go slow, wear a mask and sand along the edge not across it. get a cheap mirror to practice on if you're not sure and did i mention the mask? glass 'dust' is not nice![]()
It's currently stripped down again on the stands with tape & paint spots from plumblines all over the floor. Not got all of the lines drawn up yet but it's obvious the rear axle is not in line, which confirms my thoughts. Once all measurements are worked out I can adjust it to get it all square.
As I could not find convex glass for the mirrors I bought a bigger glass & had a go at cutting it out with the Dremel (glass company said it could not be done!), pretty pleased with the results. I'll buy more glass and cut it out better as this was with a cheapy wheel and it's chipped the edge in a few places. Happy with the results for first attempt though and the mirror is much more useable now.

Maybe cut the next one a little oversize and then linish the edges to finish it to size? I know glaziers use belt linishers for cleaning and polishing glass edges, you just have to be careful not to get it too hot.

No Steve - it's in hand thanks for the offer though. By the time I'd got the templates back and waited till the weekend to get them to mill hill then it would take just as long.
Screen should be done for the weekend & sides will be a little longer.

My thought too Mark, I'll be more careful with the next two - that was done quickly just to see if it was possible. Glass company will polish edges for me when I collect screen.
