    Hi cjh,
I can see why you made the bracket recently now, makes a lot of sense to me.
    Good luck with the valance,
    Cheers,

    Hi guys,
Yesterday I was mainly fixing my throttle cable. After quite a few attempts over many months, I have managed to get a cable that works.
I know it doesn't sound like much but it has been a real pain in the neck to get it sorted, now my pain has gone and I can move on to the next jobs, I've also made the return spring mount on the valve cover that works a treat.
To top it off the cable is blue, and it works well with my colour scheme LOL,
    Cheers,
    Mike C.

    Chris,
Thanks for the good wishes, I am trying my best to fire up for Christmas, it was supposed to be a few years ago, however things didn't go according to plan, although this time I'm closer than ever, so it's got to go soon LOL,
The headers are good ( that sounded a bit big headed, not mean't) and I'm hopefull that they will perform as good as they look,
    Cheers,
    Mike C.

    "

Thank's Mike, the pic's could have been better i s'pose, iv'e not long had a four barrell on my rover and i had a lot of help from a good mate of mine so i know how much work there is in makeing all those little bracket's (very time consuming) my mate did most of mine but i helped with some of it and it's really made it a pleasure to drive compared to the old SU's.

Is that a technical carpet strip bracket i see in the picture there?

I was forced to do some heroic overtaking manoeuvers last night on the A21 which resulted in clouds of oil smoke out the back as usual. 70mph ain't healthy on an original sidevalve block

Got home and this morning found I'd left the dipstick out which explains a bit of it. Probably no oil in it now

Dave the 69's came from my Anglia when it looked more like a car, it just sort of stuck:

Roof rack was for when I went on my hols to the Nats and needed to sling my bike up on top

    Hi Dave,
The pics certainly gave me some more inspiration to go in the garage on a wet and snowy day. I did fit my kick down, g/box breather, and inhibior switch, oh and I tweeked my throttle bracket and the throttle is even smoother now LOL

I didn't realise that you had previously got the SU's I'll bet that makes a load of difference.

I wish I had bought a plasma cutter for all the brackets would have saved loads of time.

    Keep cruising,
    Mike C.

You'll need Quicktime to play it.
