    Thanks mate,

Today was a bit of a weird day, had a camera along side me in the workshop as the guys at Dirty Wizard Customs came over to film some progress for a small documentary they are making!
lucky enough they are pretty handy on the tools ect too so we worked pretty well and got on with some tunnel making!
A couple of measurements, some wooden guides and the rollers hey presto were getting there

    Looking good.

Can't be too careful these days with identity theft. You've got your full home address in one of your pics on an invoice.

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.

Thanks for the kind words again Tim, it is a little tricky and takes time but once it’s clicked then it’s easier.
We had a measure up and cut some wood, then used the wood as a template for card transferred the card to steel.

Last night a fellow racer showed his face again and helped out with the tunnel fabrication, the next section was a little harder but we have somthing that looks good and can work with.
not the easiest of things but it’s looking more and more complete.

Cheers guys! Yep gets chilly no insulation here, funny thing when we moved workshops to this one they put a nice new roof on the old one with 100mm insulation. What a bummer!! Haha!
Ahh yes non car stuff does happen sometimes! I call that a mince but not much of that has been happening while the car needs building. Looking forward to a real big clean up ect once the race cars done! Might get my pop in then for a freshen up! Now that could get expensive!

One of them days where if didn’t go to plan.
However, lots of welding and a bit of stress here is the result. Nearly complete few more hours and tunnle should be done.

Love looking at other people's work, as I'm building my first, some stuff I don't think of, but then see other people's ideas / solutions / problem solving etc.... Great work fella..

I'm sure Tom said its his first build too!
Its not my first build but still got lots to learn (or things Ive already learnt but then forgot) so I love to see the quality work and ideas.
I may live in East London, I may have a number plate that reads "Chopt",
but I do NOT use 6" wheel spacers!

Throttle pedal initial plans coming together this evening.

    Threaded tube m6 RH/LH
1/2 inch thin wall tube cut and joined for throttle piviot.
Honda fuel filter spacers used in the half inch tube to reduce down ID for piviot bolt
Small window style tab welded on the tube for link to carb.
I was going to have to turn up some reducers on the lathe for the piviot bolt. While changing a fuel filter at work the other day the old grommet spacers fell out…. Well they look close I thought to my self.
    Perfect fit
time will tell if there good to go.
    To be continued.
