That was at idle. Inside the pop was noticibly quieter considering it was mostly in the garage

I get my carpet from Mark (Pop Browns), it has a rubber backing, very strong, cut it to shape, drop it in, job done. No glue necessary, easy to remove when needed.
I may live in East London, I may have a number plate that reads "Chopt",
but I do NOT use 6" wheel spacers!

Decent felt underlay is a must to keep any carpet from premature wear. I bought from Martrim, a proper Wilton - more expensive - but so much better carpet.

    Street Weekend 4
Whilst you were away at the isle of wight, i held what's left of the fort ( thanks for all the lovely pictures on FB ) and got my prep done on the pop. It was last minute as i was on the 3rd lot of accepted participants
2 local mates and a pal off there's from Brecon way made the trip with me, i say made, but actually the just followed where ever i went
Supposed 2 runs at Santa Pod on the Thursday failed due to rain, so we then went on too the first check point at the British motor cycle museum at Coventry, the on to the Humber Bridge as the next check point.
Friday saw us at Elvington for 2 runs at the track and on too Sutton Moor and Billy Bob's milk parlour for 2 more check points, Saturday saw us at a drying Melbourne raceway for another 2 runs and on to Matlock Bath.
Heading back to Santa Pod on Sunday we found some dry weather and another 2 runs this time over the 1/4 mile, the other's were 1/8ths and we collected our medals for completion.

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.
