They used to do Animal burgers there.
Now and again there would be a Red PB Cresta down there and a 3litre Capri with straight through pipes.
The CB place "Big Rigs" was just round the corner, owned by Barry Curtis, had a red 56 Chevy wagon with a jag irs,and the Thorneycroft Antar Wrecker outside and there was a red T-bucket in there.Anybody no what one that was?

heres the PB-another one from the Cruise and Weir

The only place that deep fat fried burgers a chap I worked with at Perrys Hadleigh owned a PB Cresta I am sure its the Red oxide painted car in that video. Later he owned a Dodge Challanger which he painted Orange.

Heres my last pics of the feb 87 cruise, although very dark i had to put the first pic on as it shows a mk2 farnham estate (YJN 743) & also how the nice boys in blue didnt care atall about where they parked, they just parked on the roundabout, this meant that cars coming from the kurzel end towards the pier had to go straight on & couldnt turn around for about another quater of a mile(where all the cars park in the middle of the road) there were never any coppers up that end so occasionally, (just occasionally mind!) the cars would lose a little of the grip on the rear tyres as they done the u turn to return for the next circuit!!!, more to come soon.

Mk 4 Zephur/Zodiac,green with Jag irs.

Think that was probably an old mate of mine, Pete Warren from Croydon, we used to get down there from time to time, it also had a 302 in it!

I see a MK 4 with jag irs mentioned on the custom shop thread 289 powered, must of been the same one, couldant of been many MK 4s with irs,s
There was also a pickup one that i see down the cruise.

Anybody on here(i no Trimmer see it) ever see the ZZTop Coupe in the Ford Gararge showroom,Eastwood along the A127 in 85 or 86.Me mate couldant believe it as a 19 year old who had just been biulding the Monogram Kit then sudenly there it is the real car.

Had two and loved them. One sat on the factory wheels from a 71 Roadrunner .

That must have been Paul Harris,he had the PB then a blue AMX then the orenge Chalenger-which had the direct conection decals on the rear querters, and a roll bar, this car a guy known as "spanner" bought it after.Ive got a pic of the Challenger somewhere. The last time i see this car many years after spanner owned it,was white.
A guy called Eddie had the PB in the u-tube vid.
