    Front of roof

As you can see by early pics in my build thread the front of roof was also very poor. The panel above screen was cut out (which also needed a small repair) to make it easier to get at roof. No they are not worms trying to eat there way into car, just filler! Then it was time for pete to perform more of his magic. Lots of hamering and welding up of little holes has left it looking lke this. Still not finished but looking a lot more like a roof should look. Last pic shows part of roof on floor. I was told not to panic when i went to see car without roof!

Hi everyone! i have been messaged by someone about progress on coupe so here is a recent pic. It has taken up so much time I nearly gave up, every panel needed work, the doors were bad and needed extensive work, I must have hundreds of pics of every part of build. However I think we have now turned a corner and at last its looking like a car again with nil rust and nil filler inc lead! ok there is still a way to go. there is almost nothing left that has not been changed, even the roof as it has been unchopped around 20mm,I know that sounds mad but the new screen dident fit so as the roof was off at the time it seemed easier to lift roof a little!. Looking forward to 2017, who knows, maybee we will se it out again!!

Brings back a lot of memories / sleepless nights seeing your pics. Great metal work going on there, every piece of it a fiddle and a headache LOL.. but will be worth it. Glad to hear that you are persevering with it and resigned to the fact that its not an overnight process.. makes it all the more special when you get out in it again.
