    So this must be the elusive Pop coupe mentioned earlier,well done Chris And Ade

    This thread must now have all the Pop coupes ever built ,if not it must be very close to all ,i didnt realise there had been so many

    Thanks Bri this shot had me doing some checking,but i am certain this is again the coupe this thread was started about,the LUT /VPB coupe,what threw me was the straight red paint and chrome 5 spokes (4 on the front ),there aren't many photos of it like this i bet.

    Mmmmm ,same car,someone has changed the rear window, added some roof gutter,headlamps ,wings,and door radius amongst other mods.

    not yet,I have found out that it is now red, and still exists

    the roof looks short to me ,but that could just be photo angle.

    Hi all great yo see my old pop as a coupe . That was a long time ago. It's now on Tampa with s guy who had a collection of pops. I have just bought another pop not sure what to do with it .

    Thanks for the update Steve,it’s still taxed and motd for a couple of months but maybe it had to be for it to be exported.

    it was good to see it in black,I had forgot the black paint scheme,was it like that for long mark ?

    I`m certain it`s Paul Kemptons old LUT490 too Ian, the body lines are the same as are the bonnet badges, 5 and 4 bolt wheels, same stance and they both have a short stubby aerial in the same place.

    I've just spoken with Nigel Pittard who buit the coupe originally and the red coupe in these pics IS Paul Kemptoms old one.
